Love Hate Relationship

I was elbow deep in my new "Overhaul" line project when (I'm sure due to user error) my serger began to misbehave! That thing has always been a love hate thing for me! I love the serger when it works with and for me! Seriously one of my favorite of all sewing type devices! However, there is no other machine that makes me feel more stupid! Ah the story is long, but lets just say that I needed several lessons on stringing and restringing, and of course the little man teaching (and fixing) was saying that my model was one of the easiest to string! Ha! I will learn. I have already learned sooo much! And it is really technical and interesting. And as a stay at home mom, this is the best kind of thinking I've done in a while!

So, all this to say that my serger is unable to be resurrected by me at this time and will likely have to visit the Dr. next week. Will I put my projects on hold? Nah. I'll do all I can except serge, and when it is healthy again, I will wear it out, trying not to break it of course! For now, we're a littl on the fritz!

Repeat Preview

My mom and I are working on a new project. We are creating and recreating boutique clothing for toddlers. We've only just begun and it is fun. Not to mention that M is the beneficiary of all the demo model clothes (the ones we work with first to get them just right). Then she gets to be our little model/walking advertisement! There is one more outfit that is complete (minus the monogram) so I will post it later. But the scoop is that we will use this blog to get started. Please feel free to email TeederToddlers@gmail.com to request anything. If you'd like to see something in a bigger size let us know that too. Your opinions matter! That's what keeps us going!


Here's the scoop. TeederToddlers is our name. We make clothing for toddler girls sizes 2-5. Our goal is to make one style of clothing per week/one pattern if you will. We will make only one item in each size (unless there is a special request for twins), and that is it. The next week will be a whole new item. The purpose here is to keep things very original. The quality will be high, and the demand great because THERE ARE SO FEW THAT ARE ALIKE! If there happens to be a particular pattern and/or fabric that is extremely popular, then you can expect to see it reappear in the following month's picks. But the goal will be to keep things unique and individual AND high quality, made in America! Can't wait to publish the post that says that we are up and running.

In high demand, these overalls are overhauled to create a chic, boutique look and so few are exactly the same! At $40.00 a pair, you can't beat the price. We make use of quality recycled overalls and create a custom pair for your child.



If you prefer an entirely new, never recycled pair then add $10.00. A monogram is an additional $5.00. A matching bow is also an additional $5.00

This is my most recent creation! It is a glorified pillowcase dress! And boy is it glorified! Nothing says this season like the mixing of patterns and the black and white prints! This dress particularly has already been purchased, but a similar creation will run $30.00. With matching bow add $5.00. With Monogram add $5.00.

There are no boring pillow case dresses here! And very few are exactly the same with the exception of multiples.
